J. Matthew Brock serves as Liberty Counsel's Vice President for External Affairs. Responsible for creating strategic partnerships between the organization and those who are passionate about its mission, Mr. Brock serves as a key spokesperson for advancing Liberty Counsel through increased awareness, advocacy, involvement, and philanthropy.

Liberty Counsel is a national non-profit litigation, education and policy organization. Established in 1989, Liberty Counsel has offices in Florida, Virginia, Texas, and Washington, DC. Liberty Counsel also has hundreds of affiliate attorneys throughout the country.

Mr. Brock holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Oklahoma Christian University. After completing his dissertation in human performance technology, Mr. Brock will hold a Ph.D. in Education.Ê Beginning his career in full-time ministry, Mr. Brock has also led initiatives to secure private support for Christian and public institutions of higher education, as well as social service organizations.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Brock served his country from 1996-2004, reaching the rank of Sergeant. His reserve unit was mobilized in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He resides in Florida with his wife, Holly, and daughter, Sadie.
